Background Story:

We were inspired by a post by Helen Clark (@just.beadz)

Helenโ€™s post included photos from her shopping trip with her friend Dot (@dotuk1) in the UK. This store set up appointments to help keep their customers safe. Both Helen and Dot wore nice face masks with their beads.

On Saturday night, we began brainstorming a community event around this idea of beads and masks.

During this pandemic, face masks have become essential โ€œaccessoriesโ€ in our daily outfits. Why not have some fun with it?

Help protect lives by wearing a mask!

We are all in this together as a team around the world.

With love,
Martha, Trisha, and April

Here are the first 30 submissions!

We are having such a great time reading the captions, comments and well wishes shared all around the globe.

  1. Great article, April! Iโ€™m really enjoying seeing peopleโ€™s pictures from around the world. There have been many lovely fabrics-which I find myself looking at even more than the beads!

  2. This is so much fun, and what a terrific way to bring the world together during these uncertain times. I’m having such a great time pairing my beads with my masks – love playing with colors too! ๐Ÿ˜€
